Old buildings, busy streets, high standards
Rochester is not like the other Medway towns. The High Street is lined with historic buildings now used as shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and offices, many of them with narrow stairs, old floors and awkward layouts. Across the river in Strood, Medway City Estate is the opposite: modern units, offices and trade premises. A good cleaner in Rochester has to be comfortable with both.
Our base at the Innovation Centre sits by Rochester Airport, on the Rochester and Chatham border, so we are close to both sides of the city.
The High Street and the historic centre
From the cathedral end down towards Star Hill, Rochester's centre is full of independent businesses that rely on visitors and footfall. That means the clean has to be finished before opening, and it has to be thorough. Front of house matters, but so do back rooms, kitchens and toilets that customers notice straight away.
- Restaurants and cafes cleaned before service
- Pubs cleaned early, ready for opening time
- Independent shops with floors and glass done before customers arrive
- Offices above shops cleaned out of hours
Medway City Estate and the Strood side
Medway City Estate is one of the largest business areas in Medway, with offices, trade counters, showrooms and warehouses packed onto the peninsula. These buildings need a dependable routine: toilets, kitchens, offices and working areas cleaned on a set schedule, often before shifts start. Our warehouse cleaning covers both the office and the working floor.
Around Rochester Airport
The businesses around the airport and the Innovation Park on Maidstone Road are our closest neighbours. Offices and small units here can start from four hours a week, and we already hold keys and alarm codes for office customers.

Rochester questions
Can you work around a restaurant's opening hours?
Yes. We clean early in the morning, in the evening or at weekends, whichever fits your service times.
Do you cover Strood and Frindsbury?
We do, along with the rest of Rochester and the whole of Medway.
What happens before the first clean?
We visit, carry out a risk assessment in line with HSE guidance and agree a written schedule. A supervisor is on site for the first clean to make sure it starts right.
