Commercial contract cleaning across Kent and Medway

Commercial cleaning service

Shops

Regular contract cleaning for shops, carried out by our own employed cleaning teams across Kent and Medway.

Customers decide whether they like a shop within a few steps of the door. A grubby entrance mat, dust along the bottom shelf and smears on the counter glass tell them something before they have picked anything up. Clean floors and bright, tidy displays do the opposite. They make people stay longer and come back.

The parts of a shop that give you away

Retail cleaning is not about the middle of the floor. It is about the places that collect dirt quietly and get noticed by the customer who is standing still.

  • Entrance doors, mats and the floor just inside, where wet weather and grit come in
  • Shelving and display units, especially those nearest the door
  • Counters, tills and card machines your staff touch all day
  • Glass cabinets and mirrors, left without streaks or fingerprints
  • Fitting rooms, if you have them
  • Customer and staff toilets
  • Stockroom floors, staff room and kitchen
  • Bins emptied and recycling taken out

A jeweller or an optician needs glass you cannot see. A clothes shop needs fitting rooms that do not feel used. A busy convenience store needs floors that stand up to hundreds of pairs of shoes. Your written cleaning schedule is built around what your shop actually sells.

Before the shutters go up

Nobody wants to step round a mop bucket to reach the till. We clean early in the morning before you open, in the evening after you close, or at the weekend, so the shop floor is ready when the first customer walks in and trading is never interrupted.

Small units count too

Contracts start from four hours a week. A single unit on a parade gets the same trained cleaner, the same supervisor and the same schedule as a large store. If your shop sits under an office or alongside one, we look after offices as well, and window cleaning is available to every regular contract customer.

What you can rely on

A cleaner you recognise

Our own employees, vetted by us, trained in house and in uniform. Never agency staff you have never met.

Cover when they are off

Holidays and sickness are our problem to solve. Your shop still gets cleaned.

A note behind the counter

A comments book stays on site, so your manager can flag a spill or a missed corner and it gets sorted.

Someone checking

Supervisors inspect regularly, and our managers do hands on cleaning themselves, so they know what good looks like.

Shop owners often ask

Will cleaning get in the way of trading?

No. We work outside your opening hours, before you open or after you close, so customers never see us.

Our stockroom has things we would rather nobody touched. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Your schedule spells out what is cleaned and what is left alone, and every cleaner signs a confidentiality agreement before they start.

Can you clean the shop windows as well?

Yes. Window cleaning is available to all our regular contract customers, so the glass customers see first is looked after too.

Are you insured?

We are fully insured and carry out a risk assessment of your premises in line with HSE guidance before the first clean, when a supervisor will be on site with your cleaner.
