Commercial contract cleaning across Kent and Medway

Commercial cleaning service

Factories

Regular contract cleaning for factories, carried out by our own employed cleaning teams across Kent and Medway.

The people on your production line deserve somewhere decent to eat their lunch, wash their hands and get changed. In a lot of factories that is exactly what gets neglected. Machines are maintained to the minute, while the canteen, the locker room and the toilets are left to whoever has a spare ten minutes at the end of a shift.

Where a factory cleaner earns their keep

Your own team knows the machinery and the production process. We take on the rest of the building, the parts that keep your staff healthy and your site looking professional.

  • Canteens, mess rooms and staff kitchens
  • Toilets, washrooms and showers
  • Changing rooms and locker areas
  • Offices, reception and meeting rooms
  • Corridors, stairwells and walkways
  • Agreed shop floor areas and walkways, to your instructions
  • Bins emptied and waste taken to your designated point

Safety comes first on a working site

A factory is not a place to wander around without knowing the rules. Before we start, we carry out a risk assessment of your site in line with HSE guidance, and our cleaners follow your site induction, your restricted areas and your PPE requirements. Where the site needs it, our cleaners wear the PPE required, such as hard hats, high visibility clothing and safety boots. Slippery floors, dust and debris in walkways are all trip and slip risks, and a regular clean keeps them under control.

Cleaning around shifts

Production does not stop for a mop. We clean early in the morning, in the evening or at weekends, between shifts or when an area is quiet, so we never hold up a line. Where you run round the clock, we agree with you which areas are cleaned at which times.

Dirtier than an office

Grease, dust and heavy footfall from the yard need the right products and equipment, not a domestic spray and a cloth.

Staff welfare

Clean welfare areas help with morale and with your duty to provide decent facilities for your workforce.

Visitors and auditors

Customers touring the site and auditors judge you on your offices and welfare areas as much as your line.

No cover, no clean

We cover sickness and holidays ourselves, so the canteen does not go a week without attention.

One contract for the whole site

Many factories have a warehouse or dispatch area alongside production. We also look after warehouses and offices, so the whole site can sit under one written cleaning schedule, with window cleaning available on top.

Questions factory and facilities managers ask

Will your cleaners follow our site rules?

Yes. They complete your site induction, keep to the areas agreed in the schedule and wear the PPE your site requires. A supervisor is on site for the first clean to make sure everyone is clear.

Do you clean production machinery?

No. Machinery stays with your trained operators and maintenance team. We look after the rest of the building.

Who are the cleaners?

Our own employees, trained in house, vetted by us and in uniform. We never use agency staff or subcontractors.

We already have cleaners on our payroll. Can you take them on?

Yes. We have experience of TUPE transfers and will handle the move properly.
