Commercial contract cleaning across Kent and Medway

Commercial cleaning service

Community Centres

Regular contract cleaning for community centres, carried out by our own employed cleaning teams across Kent and Medway.

A community centre can host a baby group at nine, a pensioners' lunch at twelve, a fitness class at six and a birthday party on Saturday night. Every hirer expects to walk into a clean room, and every one of them leaves something behind. If the hall is not reset properly between bookings, the next group notices, and so does whoever is taking the hire money.

One building, lots of users

The trouble with a busy centre is that nobody owns the mess. Hirers are supposed to tidy up, volunteers do what they can, and the toilets and kitchen slowly slide. A regular contract cleaner puts one person in charge of the standard, working to a written cleaning schedule agreed with your centre manager or trustees.

What gets cleaned

Main hall and function rooms

Floors swept and mopped, chairs and tables wiped, skirting and ledges dusted, so the room is ready for the next booking.

Kitchen

Worktops, sinks, hob and appliance fronts. Groups serving food need a kitchen they can trust.

Toilets and baby change

Cleaned, restocked and checked. These are what users complain about first.

Entrance and offices

Lobby, noticeboards, glass doors and the small office where bookings are run.

Timed around your bookings diary

We clean early in the morning, in the evening or at weekends, so we can slot into the gaps in your diary. A clean after a late Saturday party and before the Sunday morning group is exactly the kind of thing we plan for. If your bookings change through the year, we can look at the schedule with you.

Making a small budget go further

Community centres are usually run on tight money, often by volunteers or a charity committee. Contracts start from four hours a week, and we put those hours where they make the biggest difference rather than spreading them thinly. You are not paying for a cleaner to polish an empty room.

Why it goes better with us

  • Our own employed cleaners, never agency or subcontractors
  • Trained in house, vetted by us and in uniform
  • Sickness and holiday cover arranged by us
  • A comments book on site so hirers and staff can flag problems
  • Regular supervisor inspections and a supervisor at the first clean
  • Managers who do hands on cleaning themselves

Questions trustees and centre managers ask

Children's groups use our centre. Who will be on site?

Our own employees, vetted by us and in uniform. Cleaning is done outside booked sessions wherever possible. Our cleaners in schools hold enhanced DBS checks, and we are happy to talk through your safeguarding policy.

We have a volunteer who cleans at the moment. What happens to them?

That is your decision. Many centres choose to keep a volunteer for small jobs and leave the regular cleaning to us. If you employ a paid cleaner, we have experience of TUPE transfers.

Can you do the windows?

Yes. Window cleaning is available to all our regular contract customers.

Are you insured?

We are fully insured and carry out a risk assessment in line with HSE guidance before the first clean.
