Commercial contract cleaning across Kent and Medway

Commercial cleaning service

Day Nurseries

Regular contract cleaning for day nurseries, carried out by our own employed cleaning teams across Kent and Medway.

Clean at the height children live at

Babies crawl across the floor. Toddlers lean on low shelves, pull themselves up on table legs and put their hands in their mouths straight after. Cleaning a nursery means thinking about the room from a child's height, not an adult's. Floors, skirting, door edges and every surface little hands can reach matter more here than anywhere else we clean.

What parents and inspectors notice

Parents walking in at drop off notice a fresh smell and clean floors, and they notice when things are not right. Ofsted notices too. A nursery that is properly cleaned every day gives your staff one less thing to worry about and lets them get on with looking after the children.

What we clean

  • Baby rooms, toddler rooms and preschool rooms
  • Floors, mats and skirting
  • Tables, chairs, low shelves and door handles
  • Nappy changing areas
  • Children's and staff toilets
  • Sleep rooms
  • Kitchens and food preparation areas
  • Entrance, reception and staff room

When the children have gone home

Nobody wants cleaning chemicals and a mop bucket near a room full of toddlers. We clean in the evening once the last child has been collected, or early in the morning before the doors open, so every room is ready and dry for the day ahead. Weekend cleans are available too.

Infection control that holds up

One bug in a nursery goes round every room in days. Our cleaners are trained in house to work in a way that stops germs moving from changing areas and toilets into play rooms and kitchens. A written cleaning schedule sets out exactly what is cleaned and how, and our supervisors check it is being followed.

Safe people in your setting

Our cleaners are our own employees, vetted by us and in uniform. Cleaners working in nurseries have enhanced DBS checks, the same standard we apply in schools. You will never find an agency worker you have not met letting themselves into your setting.

Why nursery cleaning goes wrong

Your staff end up cleaning

Practitioners should be with the children, not scrubbing toilets at six o'clock. We take it off their plate completely.

The cleaner does not show

We cover sickness and holidays ourselves, so you never open up to yesterday's mess.

Corners get cut

Regular supervisor inspections and a comments book on site keep standards where they should be.

No clear standard

A supervisor is on site for the first clean to agree the schedule with you and get it right from day one.

Questions nursery managers ask

Can you fit around our opening hours?

Yes. We clean after closing or before opening and agree the times with you.

Is there a minimum contract?

Contracts start from four hours a week, which suits a small nursery as well as a large one.

Do you clean windows?

Yes. Window cleaning is available to all our regular contract customers.

Are you insured?

We are fully insured and carry out a risk assessment for your nursery in line with HSE guidance.
