Commercial contract cleaning across Kent and Medway

Commercial cleaning service

Toilets

Regular contract cleaning for toilets, carried out by our own employed cleaning teams across Kent and Medway.

The room everyone uses and nobody wants to clean

Ask your staff or customers what annoys them most about a building and the washroom comes near the top every time. An empty soap dispenser, a wet floor, a bin overflowing with paper towels or a smell that hits you at the door. It takes seconds to notice and much longer to forget. In an office, a shop, a surgery or any site where lots of people pass through, the toilets say more about how you run the place than anything on the wall.

Washroom cleaning as part of a regular contract

We do not offer one off toilet cleans. Washrooms are cleaned as part of a regular contract for your premises, on a set schedule, by the same trained cleaners every time. For buildings with heavy use, that schedule is built around how busy your toilets actually get, not a generic once a day tick box.

Offices and business parks

Staff washrooms used all day by the same people, who notice every lapse. See our office cleaning page.

Shops and public facing businesses

Customer toilets that strangers use and judge you by. Our shop cleaning page explains more.

Surgeries and clinics

Patient toilets where hygiene really matters, cleaned with bactericides that kill MRSA.

Busy and heavy use sites

Factories, warehouses and halls where toilets take a hammering and need more than a quick wipe.

What a proper washroom clean includes

  • Toilets, urinals and seats cleaned inside and out
  • Basins, taps and splashbacks
  • Mirrors and internal glass
  • Cubicle doors, partitions, locks and handles
  • Hand dryers, dispensers and flush handles
  • Floors mopped right into the corners and behind the pan
  • Bins emptied

Stopping germs travelling round the building

A washroom cleaned with the same cloth that later wipes a kitchen worktop is a problem waiting to happen. Our cleaners keep washroom equipment for washrooms only, and pay close attention to the things people touch: door handles, flush handles, taps and locks. That is where germs move from one person to the next.

Every site gets a written cleaning schedule, regular supervisor inspections and a comments book on site, so if a washroom is not right you can say so and it gets put right.

Why washrooms are always the first thing to slip

It is the least popular job in cleaning, so it is the one that gets rushed. Our managers do hands on cleaning themselves, including toilets, and they expect the same standard from everyone. Our cleaners are our own employees, vetted, trained in house and in uniform. When someone is off sick or on holiday, we arrange the cover, because a washroom left for a week is not something anyone can live with.

We clean early in the morning, in the evening or at weekends, so the washrooms are fresh when your building fills up.

Washroom questions

Can you just clean our toilets and nothing else?

Our contracts start from four hours a week, so if your washrooms need that much regular attention, yes. Usually it makes more sense to include them as part of a wider clean of the building.

How often should busy toilets be cleaned?

As often as the traffic demands. We look at how your washrooms are used, then build the visits and times into your written schedule so they never reach the point where people complain.

How do you work safely in wet areas?

We carry out a risk assessment of your premises in line with HSE guidance before we start, and our cleaners work to it.
