Commercial contract cleaning across Kent and Medway

Commercial cleaning service

Hotels

Regular contract cleaning for hotels, carried out by our own employed cleaning teams across Kent and Medway.

Guests check in to the lobby before they check in to a room

A guest's opinion of your hotel is formed in the car park, at the front door and at the reception desk. Fingerprints on the revolving door, a dusty lobby table or a tired looking corridor carpet tell them what to expect upstairs, whether that is fair or not. Your guests are paying to relax, and nothing undoes that quicker than finding something someone else should have cleaned.

The public areas that set the tone

Lobby and reception

Entrance glass, matting, the desk, seating and every surface guests lean on while they wait for a key.

Corridors, stairs and lifts

Long runs of carpet, handrails, lift buttons and mirrors. Neglect shows here first and guests walk it every day.

Lounges, bars and breakfast rooms

Seating, tables, floors and the bar front, ready before the first guest comes down for breakfast.

Public toilets and function rooms

Washrooms near the bar and conference space take heavy use from guests and visitors alike.

Back of house matters too

Your housekeeping and front desk teams work long shifts. They deserve a clean staff room, a decent kitchen to eat in and toilets that are looked after. We include offices, staff rooms, changing areas and corridors in your written cleaning schedule, so the parts guests never see are not left to fend for themselves.

Cleaning a building that never closes

A hotel is open all night. We plan cleaning for the quiet hours, usually early morning before breakfast service and during the evening lull, and at weekends too. Our cleaners work quietly near bedrooms and keep out of the way when a coach party arrives. Everything about when and where we clean is agreed with you before we start and written down.

Our cleaners are employed by us, never by an agency. They are vetted, trained in house, in uniform and sign a confidentiality agreement. In a building full of guests' belongings, you need to know exactly who is walking the corridors.

Why hotels end up unhappy with their cleaners

  • Cover falls through. We cover sickness and holidays ourselves, so a busy bank holiday weekend is not the weekend nobody turns up.
  • Nobody inspects. Our supervisors check the work regularly, and our managers do hands on cleaning themselves.
  • Feedback goes nowhere. Your duty managers can write in the comments book on site and it gets acted on.
  • Unsafe working. We carry out a risk assessment of your building in line with HSE guidance before we start.

If your hotel has a busy bar or restaurant open to the public, our restaurant cleaning and pub cleaning pages explain how we handle those.

Hotel managers ask us

Do you service guest bedrooms?

Our contracts are built around public areas, washrooms and back of house. Talk to us about what you need and we will tell you plainly what we will include in your schedule.

Can you take on our existing cleaning staff?

Yes. We have experience of TUPE transfers and will manage the move properly.

What about the outside windows?

Window cleaning is available to all regular contract customers, and a hotel frontage is the first thing arriving guests see.

Is a small guest house too small?

No. Contracts start from four hours a week.
