Herne Bay is growing, and so are its businesses
Herne Bay has changed a lot in recent years. The seafront and the pier draw visitors, the town centre around Mortimer Street and the High Street has filled with independent shops and cafes, and out by the Thanet Way there are newer business sites including Altira Business Park, alongside the industrial units at Eddington. New homes mean more surgeries, nurseries and schools too. All of these premises need cleaning, and all of them need it done by people who turn up.
The case for a contract cleaner
Plenty of Herne Bay businesses get by with a self employed cleaner, a member of staff staying late, or the owner doing it at the weekend. That works until it does not. Someone goes on holiday, someone leaves, and the place goes downhill. A regular contract with us puts all of that on our shoulders.
- We employ the cleaner, so you do not have to
- We arrange cover for sickness and holidays
- We supervise and inspect the work regularly
- We write a cleaning schedule so nothing depends on memory
- We are fully insured and carry out a risk assessment in line with HSE guidance

The people in your building
Every cleaner we send is our own employee, vetted by us, trained in house and in uniform. Each one signs a confidentiality agreement, and our managers still do hands on cleaning themselves, so they understand the job from the floor up. We never use agency staff or subcontractors.
Getting started
We visit, agree what you need and write it into a schedule. A supervisor is on site for your first clean to make sure the cleaner knows your building, and there is a comments book on site from day one so you can leave notes. Contracts start from four hours a week, and window cleaning is available to regular contract customers.
We are a family run business based at the Innovation Centre in Chatham, and we also cover nearby Whitstable and Canterbury.

We have experience of TUPE transfers and will manage the move properly.
Do you clean homes as well?
No. We are commercial contract cleaners only, and that focus is why our business customers get the service they do.
