Gravesham is far more than Gravesend town centre. The borough stretches from the Thames at Northfleet and Ebbsfleet down through farmland and the North Downs to villages such as Meopham, Istead Rise, Higham, Shorne, Cobham and Vigo. Businesses here range from industrial units by the river to village surgeries, schools, pubs and offices in converted farm buildings. Kent Cleaning Solutions is a family run commercial cleaning company based at the Innovation Centre in Chatham. Gravesham borders Medway, so the whole district sits comfortably within the area we cover.
The western side of the borough is where most of the industrial and commercial space sits. Northfleet Industrial Estate, Imperial Business Estate, Lion Business Park and Springhead Enterprise Park all hold warehouses, workshops and trade units with offices, welfare rooms and toilets that need regular care. Ebbsfleet continues to grow around the international station, bringing new homes and the schools, surgeries and offices that come with them. Factory cleaning and warehouse cleaning are the services that fit here.

South and east of the town, Gravesham turns rural. The villages have parades of shops, primary schools, village halls, churches, dental and vet practices and pubs. These premises need just as much attention as anything in town, but they are often let down by cleaners who see them as too small or too far out. We do not. Meopham has its own page.
Every building gets its own written cleaning schedule, but they are all run by the same team to the same standard.

Supervisors carry out regular inspections and a comments book is kept on site at each building.
Taking over from a council contractor or an outgoing cleaning company? We have experience of TUPE transfers and handle them properly, which matters for schools, community buildings and multi site organisations.
Our cleaners are our own employees. They are vetted by us, trained in house and work in uniform, and every one signs a confidentiality agreement. School cleaners have enhanced DBS checks. We never use agency staff or subcontractors anywhere in the borough.
Yes. A village hall or a small practice is a regular contract like any other. Contracts start from four hours a week.
Of course. An industrial unit in Northfleet and a school in a village keep very different hours. We clean early mornings, evenings and weekends and set the times per site.
We carry out a risk assessment in line with HSE guidance, agree a written schedule and send a supervisor for the first clean.
