Commercial contract cleaning across Kent and Medway

Commercial cleaning service

Dentists

Regular contract cleaning for dentists, carried out by our own employed cleaning teams across Kent and Medway.

Plenty of people feel uneasy before they sit in a dentist's chair. What they see while they wait either settles them or makes it worse. A spotless waiting room, a fresh patient toilet and a treatment room that looks clinically clean tell a nervous patient they are in safe hands before anyone has said hello.

Cleaning around clinical work, not over it

Your dental nurses look after the chair, the instruments and decontamination between patients. That is their job and it stays that way. Our job is everything around it: floors, worktops, sinks, door handles, light switches and the surfaces your team should not have to think about at the end of a long day of appointments. Each treatment room is cleaned to your instructions, and your written cleaning schedule makes clear exactly what our cleaner does and does not touch.

Rooms we look after in a practice

  • Reception desk and waiting room, including any children's corner
  • Treatment rooms and surgeries, to your instructions
  • Decontamination room floors and surfaces, to your instructions
  • X ray room
  • Patient and staff toilets
  • Staff room, kitchen and practice manager's office
  • Corridors, stairs and entrance

Keeping infection out of the building

A dental practice sees a steady flow of people every day, and some of them are older or have weakened immune systems. We use bactericides that kill MRSA, and colour coded mops, buckets and cloths so the equipment used in a toilet never comes near a treatment room. Cloths and mop heads are kept separate for each area so dirt is not carried from one room to the next.

Ready when the inspector calls

When the CQC visit, your premises have to look as good as your clinical records. A written schedule, safety data sheets (COSHH sheets) for the products we use and regular supervisor inspections give you something solid to show, not just a promise that the cleaner comes in.

Discreet people in a confidential setting

Patient notes, appointment screens and treatment plans are all part of a normal day in a dental practice. Every one of our cleaners signs a confidentiality agreement and is our own employee, vetted by us and in uniform. They clean early in the morning, in the evening or at weekends, so they are never in the way of a patient in the chair.

Practice owners ask us

Do you clean the dental chair and equipment?

No. Clinical equipment stays with your dental team. We clean the room around it, to the instructions you set out in the schedule.

What happens when your cleaner is on holiday?

We cover sickness and holidays with our own trained staff, so your practice is still cleaned.

How do we raise a problem?

Write it in the comments book on site. Our supervisors read it and act on it, and they inspect the cleaning regularly anyway.

We share a building with other businesses. Can you clean the shared areas too?

Yes. We also clean offices and washrooms, so shared entrances, stairs and toilets can sit under the same contract. Contracts start from four hours a week.
